International Traditional Recipe Exchange
Catering and Hospitality students from each of the partner countries (in Portugal, Poland, Spain and the UK) researched recipes for local traditional meals and photographed the food and drink. They then translated them into English and exchanged them with the students in the other countries.

New College Stamford Catering students produce local traditional food using apples - apple pies, chutneys etc - and display and sell them at the annual Apple Day in October organised by Stamford Community Orchard Group - www.scog.org.uk. Some of their recipes contributed to the SCOG Apple Recipes book. This is a great example of entrepreneurship and community engagement by the students.
